STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Jake Crum, the 2008
UARA Stars Champion turned more heads on Saturday night at Lonesome Pine Raceway
in Coeburn, VA where he took his first win of the season driving the #1 XB-Fit
Energy Drink Chevrolet.
Crum qualified on the outside pole for the night's race. Crum had a good start
when the green flag waved taking the lead on the first lap. He led the remainder
of the race taking the win by five car lengths.
We had a really good car, said Crum. Josh did a great job getting the car setup
on Thursday night. Our practice sessions were limited but the crew did an
incredible job getting the car tuned in with the limited time we had.
